Basic Dog Training Courses
For the Love of Dogz
Relational Awareness and Wisdom
This course has three levels and represents the Dogz 4 Life puppy school. This one on one individualised course for puppies provides handlers with the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to build a deep, meaningful human-dog bond exploring the basics of puppy training including basic ‘commands’ coat care, nutrition, crate training consent and relationship.
- Prerequisite: No
- Cost: $495 + GST
- Length & Delivery: 1 hour per week for 4 weeks. Course delivery zoom/in person
- Dog Age: 8-20 weeks
Intermediate Pet
Dog Training
The intermediate courses provide individuals with evidence based, ethical intermediate training that enhances the human dog bond while extending basic training, enhancing duration for tasks, proofing behaviours in complex environments and managing any potential behavioural issues that may arise.

- Cost: $995 + GST
- Length & Delivery: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks. Course delivery zoom/in person.
Advanced Pet
Dog Training
This course is designed for pet dog handlers who want to explore more complex task training with their dog. In this course we will explore how to break down complex tasks and chain them together while still considering the animals welfare and enrichment.
- Prerequisite: Relational Awareness and Wisdom for puppies/pet dogs and their handlers, then prior level
- Cost: $180 + GST per hour
Behavioural Assessment and Management
Behavioural Needs Assessment
Dogz 4 Life world class trainers can assist you with any behavioural concerns you may have. To fully appreciate the issue your trainer will meet with you in the appropriate setting, discuss your concerns and perform a comprehensive assessment of the issue identifying any potential contributing modifiable factors and providing recommendations. Please note that a full, individualised management and training to address the issue is then available through purchase of a behavioural management program.

- Cost: $240 + GST weekdays, $350 + GST weekends
- Length & Delivery: 1.5 hours
Behavioural Management Program
Following a behavioural needs assessment a formal behavioural management plan will be produced. Your nationally accredited professional trainer will then work with you and your dog using comprehensive, evidence based, best practice approaches to managing behavioural issues in a way that is ethical and safe for both the handler and the dog.
- Prerequisite: behavioural management assessment
- Cost: $180 + GST per hour
- Length & Delivery: dependant on dog and issue/concern. Course delivery zoom/in person
