Training Course

Suitable for health professionals who own their own dog and are wanting to ethically include them in their therapeutic work within their scope of practice according to their regulatory body.

Assistance Dog
Training Course

Assistance dog training program with variable pathways for entry depending on the age of the dog, location of the team and preferred mode of delivery. This program is designed for handlers who want to train their own dog using an ethical, evidence based, nationally recognised approach that will not only provide valuable assistance for the handler but also enrich the life of the dog.

Emotional Support Animal

This course is suitable for clients who wish to enhance their relationship with their dog while training the dog to provide valuable emotional support in the home. Please note that ESA’s do NOT have public access rights like Assistance Dogs and cannot accompany their handler in public.

Relational Awareness and Wisdom for Teams

This course provides teams with the foundational knowledge, skills and attitudes required for ethical dog training. This course is the foundation course for all other Dogz 4 Life courses including Therapy Dog, Assistance Dog and Emotional Support Animal training.

Temperament/Suitability Assessment

This course provides a detailed assessment of the suitability of yourself and your own dog for Therapy Dog, Assistance Dog and Emotional Support Animal work. Suitable teams can then progress on to their chosen pathway.
